Banquet Sound offers a spacious control room, two isolation booths and a large live floor, and is outfitted with 22 audio channels running through industry-standard mic preamps, microphones and signal processors.
A 16-channel PA system is also in place for when the production process calls
for live pre-production and song rehearsal.
Our studio is an intimate but spacious facility with an intuitive and fast work flow, outfitted to capture the nuance of any performance, and filled to the brim with some of the world's most beloved guitars, drums, synthesizers and effects, Banquet Sound is an environment designed to foster creative exploration and practical execution.

Nixon Boyd is a songwriter, musician and producer based in Toronto. As a recording artist with Juno-nominated band Hollerado, he has co-written and performed on several top-ten Canadian Alternative radio singles in the past ten years, including “Juliette”, “Good Day at the Races”, “Pick Me Up”, “So it Goes”, “Firefly”, “Born Yesterday”, “I Got You” and “Eloise”.
Further production and writing credits include Juno-nominated artist Dizzy, pop-punk band Little Junior, and synth-pop act Bossie. With a passion for music and an ear for hooks, Nixon an adept producer with a growing track record in Canadian music.
